~flirt~ Bloom Ring : Group Gift

It’s been a while since I’ve sent a group gift as I’ve been busy building the new mainstore and getting things together for the re-opening in a few weeks time, but I want to say a little thank you to those of you that have believed in me, encouraged me and stuck around over the last six months. So, I’ve taken a note out of Tuli’s book and changed group enrolment to cost L$250 until this gift passes out of the group notice history, meaning only those already members will get it for free. It’s still a very low price if people want to join the group – and who knows what else I may send out?

I hope you enjoy wearing it as much as I enjoyed making it.

The full Bloom series will be available when the new mainstore opens – currently planned for Saturday September 6th 2008, but subject to change.

New satellite store at Pazzaz

Skinkie was rather surprised as the offer came in to open a satellite store at Pazzaz, having created a series of rings called Pizzaz only shortly before.

Pazzaz hosts the large “Pazzaz Hair” mainstore, and features six hand-selected complementing stores for fashion designers. We’re honored that ~flirt~ got asked to showcase our jewellery here.

Preview of new store build

The new store takes on shape, and we have set August 31 as the Grand Opening date. The old store is of course still available in Juicy along with all the merchandise and the freebies. Please excuse a little counstruction site feel though, and pay attention where you step. Hard hats might be advisable.

Be prepared for a hot end of summer

Hello ~flirt~ friends all across SL,

please allow me to introduce myself: my name is Peter Stindberg, and Skinkie Winkler has appointed me to be the person in charge of public relations and marketing at ~flirt~. I am in SL since October 2006 and founder of Babel Translations as well as GREENE concept furniture. I have a RL background in marketing and therefore complement Skinkie’s creative side very well.

Enough about me, let’s talk about the summer actions for ~flirt~

Skinkie is busy working on her whole new collection, and believe me, it’s even more breathtaking than her previous items. The natural twinkle of her creations – which makes annoying bling unnecessary – and the low avatar rendering cost make her jewellery creations truly unique in SL.

The new collection will be introduced at the GRAND STORE REOPENING planned for end of August. We will have a stunning new building, taking up design elements of the “Interactions” set. There will be a great opening party with lots of events too. Stay tuned.

The Street Fair at Unusual Isle is still open today, and I would like to invite you to ride the mechanical bull outside of the store. A ride goes at 1 L$, and the bull gives out many great prizes. Don’t give up after the first ride – it takes a little practice but then you easily score high. My personal highscore is 8064 – try to beat me!
